The Rural Design Network was launched in June 2022
The Rural Design Network was launched in June 2022 by Raïsa Mirza, founder of rural design & innovation studio WabiSabiJetty, after more than a decade of applying design for social impact methods and processes in rural/remote communities in over 20 countries. Whether designing systemic interventions, or new technologies, considering the unique needs and opportunities of rural ecosystems is important to support thriving rural futures. Developing design capacity and talent in rural areas can support new models of regenerative living and circular economies.
The future of design is rural!
